My first Lakeland Walk of 2012 and it was Billy no Mates. Keith rang on the Sunday to say he had flu and couldn’t go for a walk. It was if to or not for me but I decided to go with my camera and walking gear and either have a day of photography or if the weather was OK I would go for a walk. Settle is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and some very good running country. Almost all the competitors of the famous 3 Peaks fell race would have passed through here on their way to the start at Horton in Ribblesdale.
