Ryal Fold Tockholes
Another photograph taken during the first snowfall of 2008. I liked the way the tyre marks led my eye into the snow covered farm at Ryal Fold in Tockholes. Ryal Fold consists of a small group of cottages and the farm and is overlooked by Darwen Tower. It stands at a cross section of public footpaths that lead to Sunnyhurst Wood, Darwen, Tockholes Village, and Roddlesworth. It is also adjacent to Tockholes Visitor Centre and Vaughans Country Cafe.
